Indian-American soprano, Raji Venkat, is a graduate of New England Conservatory, where she studied with Carole Haber. Her stage performance includes opera, concert works, Indian classical dance, Ballet and lyrical, Jazz, and Carnatic music.

 

Alongside studying opera, Raji has a passion for Painting, Classical Indian dance and music, as well as non-profits and world peace movements.

        In addition to her operatic studies, Raji has pursued her online GCERT for Supply Chain Technology. Raji is also the current artistic director of the Atlanta dance company,  NatyaDhaara.

       Raji received her bachelors degree in Vocal Performance at Augusta University in Augusta, Georgia. Her Past roles include Pamina in  The Magic Flute  and Barbarina in  The Marriage of Figaro with Augusta University.  Raji has won AU’s concerto competition, the Lucie C. Ruzieka award, and has been a consistent finalist in Southeastern Regional NATS as well as National NATS. 

Recently She Placed 1st in Kings Peak International Music Competition, 2nd in MAP INTL Music Competition, as well as 3rd in Medici INTL Music Competition.
